agree with kenny, and i have just referbed my cooling system

new fan, cleaned and painted the rads, hrc overflow bottle, full system flush and new coolant now im just waiting for my tank to come back from painters so i can test the fan.

o and i got big air blocks when I first refilled the system, but after running for about 10 mins i found i had lost about half a litre of coolant less in the res bottle, but with no leaks to be found i assume there must have just been air blocks in the system, + the first time i ran the engine with the referbed rads they steemed like crazy, turned out just to be the new paint baking, now there fine an still look really good and brand new

After my cooling probs (waterpump / rad cap / gunk in system) The engine frame do get quite warm but the coolant temp stays just above the cold marker when your moving unless your idling for a while!

As for the air your supposed to run the bike for 10/15 mins with the cap off till the stat opens and snap the throttle a few times to force air bubbles to the top, kill the engine and top up with coolant as necessary!

crazy foooooooooooooool
i am one of the first to advocate wearing gear, i ALWAYS wear my a-stars gloves, shoei lid, leather jacket and sidi boots, MINIMUM.

but i do skimp on leg protection. wearing shorts and red sidis does look strange i know, before you comment!!

freedom of choice, thats whats great about being a biker

there really is nothing like riding down the road at 60 mph and feeling the wind run through the hairs on your legs and the soft chill around your giggangs ......

wearing your safety gear is over rated .....

scare tactics don't work ,you'll be fine to ride around with only shorts and a lid,i do it all the time,go to work in a T shirt and all

the best thing is going for a run on a bike and having to remember the sun screen for your arms and legs, then the joy of picking the bugs out of it at the next stop...

agreed, it is a great feeling with wind flowing everywhere but i can count the amount of times i have done it on one hand.
it would have to be unreal hot (i.e. not the UK!!) for me to do it all the time.
