NC30 Front Fairing - Misaligned!
I have a 1993 NC30 ive recently bought, the fairings are designed by tyga and are unpainted, being sprayed black soon. and when fitted the headlight holes dont fit around the headlights perfectly.
The problem with this is the headlights are mostly shining inside of the fairings and visibility wont be fantastic..
nor do i think the police would love it...
The bottom of the headlights there is roughly a 1-2cm gap at the bottom and gradually get smaller around the sides and fits at the top.

Anyone have an idea how i can close this gap?
Thanks.

Re: NC30 Front Fairing - Misaligned!
Doubtful that the fairing is at fault. What type of tyga fairing is it?
If it's the standard shape then the single front central bolt should line the headlights up properly with the fairing. If the bolt hole is not in the proper place (difficult to stuff up since the depression is moulded into the fairing) then it will throw the fairing off.
Is it a standard front subframe and headlight setup??
A pictutre would help a lot.

Whats the main cause of obstruction thats preventing you from pushing the nose back?
Make sure all the wiring behind the lights is snug under/behind the clocks.

like above said, make sure theres nothing you've overlooked that could be stopping it, like a group of wires that could be rerouted. If it's not, firstly, make sure theres nothing that tyga can do
and secondly, just make up a tube, spray the inside black, make sure it sits flush with the fairings and stick the lights in the end, unless this leaves the lights too far sunk into the fairing?

images 1024x768 or put them online somewhere and link to them. read the FAQ, images are kept to a reasonable usable size which is common sense. not everyone views the site on a 24" monitor or has 20mb broadband to view massive photos !
not ideal if trying to open the page on a mobile device.

You should have rubber boots around the headlamps which would get rid of that gap, see the pic below.

My right hand rubber headlight surround has come off and there is a gap, but it shouldn't be that big.

Is this a standard thing?
Or is that made up by someone?

Realistically though it's highly unlikely to be the fairing though. More than likely a bent headlight bracket and or the headlight aim screws are way off.
