Quick question
Has anyone fitted the 600rr or gsxr rear shock on an NC with the rc211v tail unit? Cheers.

Re: Quick question
havent fitted either of those, fitted a sv 650 rear shock with no res, not the best upgrade but far better than the original which was knackered on mine. needed no mods to undertray.

Re: Quick question
thats what was hindering me so i went this way instead, as i said its not the best but from the small number of test runs i have done she handles well. pretty sure with standard undertrays people have cut it etc to make ones with the res fit. the tyga tails have bespoke undertrays IIRC and is it a metal battery tray as well? not sure how much in the way of mods would be required to fit a rr or gsxr shock.
heres the sv one anyway:

this is the best ( when i best it is the only one i can find at this angle ) 'distance' shot of the shock fitted,

Re: Quick question
good stuff there..yeh the Tyga tail has the metal battery box and contoured undertray but very similar to your 600rr undertray. i'm going for an RS250 shock as it has the remote reservoir which i can mount in a few spots i think. but yeh similarly i haven't come across any Tyga kitted bikes with the 600rr or gsxr rear shock so that may be an all to obvious sign
