Is it normal??

Post by bluerob »

Hi All,

Right my other half has a NC35, it was all standard last year, and i noticed at about 6500k revs there was a kick in acceleration, not much but it was there.

But now that i've fully serviced it new air filter and fitted a race can (cheers Geoff ) it is very much more noticeable, now below 6500k revs it seems pretty slugish, but is totally fine after that.

Do the NC35's normally do this?

Cheers
Rob

They're known for a flat spot around 5k - 6k.

Generally, putting some slightly larger jets, and some HRC diagraphm springs (courtesy of Rick O) do the trick.
