Sparkplug Removal

Hi Guys

spark plug removal, the 2 front spark plus can they be removed with out taking off the the complete air box?
some clown has rounded off all the phillips screw heads that hold on the base plate, so it looks like a drill the screw heads off job
can you get replacement screws or allen bolts or does any know what thread size thay are?

what size plug socket do I need?

A 30 or a 24?

You can get at the front plugs if you take the top bolt of the rad and push it forward a bit. its a pain but can be done. ;)

as the bike came with no tool kit, i.e plug spanner what size of plug socket do you use, so far all the ones I have and have tried seem a bit tight in the well of the head

13mm deep socket, small extionsion bar, universal joint, big extension bar, then rachet ;)

Not quite,

this is the easiest option without having to remove the radiator buddy.

if you use a normal 13deep socket youll need a magnet on a stick to pop out the plugs.

I will let you know how I get on, I will probably set the effin and jeffin meter before I start and see If I can break
my personal record for swearing doing simple jobs as set when changing the headlight bulb in the wifes citroen
fingers were in traction for days

13mm socket is for nc30 plugs pornodog..

I would say 24 plugs are a more normal socket size?
