Great to see an NC29 getting some treatment. Good luck with your build, hope it all goes smoothly
Cheers Mate the big test is on Sunday, So fingers x it all goes well.

Got one day left to fit body work, race numbers and a quick going over to make sure nothing is loose.

Pick up a fairing stay bracket set and rearsets of racesupplies, top notch gear really impressed.

@ southside. Carl sells his wares on ebay or you can contact him via racesparesdirect@btconnect.com

@ valves. The use of the 2nd gasket was to take up the thickness that was machined from the head, If I didn't use the 2nd gasket the cam gears would loose the clearance.

@ yak. I'm looking at keeping std piston size for the time been, as it gives more ppl the chance to use them in std roadies with out honing bores. And also lets us use std rings. As the company that I use only makes the pistons.

ok cool, let me know if you do go ahead with it. Also about the piston design what changes are you making from standard i.e compression etc?

While surfing flea bay I pick up a few chepao items to give them ago.

1. a set of new inlet rubbers. $33.00 (they worked but had to turn them upside down)

2. a 7 click steering dampner. $35.00 Have yet to fit as I need to make a fork clamp to suit.

3. alloy quick release filler cap. $30.00 (save using a screw driver to open the old one)

and stuff that has been fitted:

1. Starline quickshifter unit. (tried it around the block bloody fun)

2. AIMS lap timer.

Can't wait to get it all on the track.

I had my first race meet at Eastern Creek on the bike last weekend. The first two races was spent dicing with a few VFRs and 125/250 strokers. I was quite happy as I beat my PB by 5sec on the Sunday when chasing an A Grade rider on a ZXR400. He beat my by 300th of a sec...

here are a few links to a guys vids, im no #63
