93+ Bikes 53bhp info needed

Post by lloydspencer »

Just out of interest.

How were the 1993+ bikes brought down to 53bhp?

Can they easily be taken back up to 60bhp?

Did they have different CDI or carbs?

Is the lack of power very noticeable?
When your Aprilia RS250 is more reliable then your girlfriend then you know it's time for her to go.

They have different cdi and pick up trigger plus the cam timings and valve lift were altered slightly to give more mid, so you could swop the cdi and trigger but may find it no better because the cams are timed differently.
In the real world (road) the post 93 are going to be very similar.
