RTA on M25 jct 21
Oh cock, I appear to have hit someone up the arse while filtering, dropped the bike and then watched the car behind me push it up the road on its right side for 10 metres...
Bruised knee and ego, ripped trousers and scratched helmet
Bike damage:
Number plate disintegrated
Right hanger/rearset disintegrated (mounting point looks ok)
Cracked screen and nose cone (was going to replace this month anyway)
Crash mushroom snapped off (but did its job)
Side fairing was off anyway so no damage there
Scratched engine casing, exhaust, mirror and bar end
Sometimes I don't know why I bother.....

Sorry to hear that mate. Filtering yikes! Don't really like doing it myself, causes problems.

Re: RTA on M25 jct 21
Traffic was moving at about 30, I moved slightly to the left to change lanes (was in rightmost lane) checked my blind spot to move into central lane, looked forward again and the car I was following was braking hard. I hit the back of it and the bike dropped onto its right hand side and into the central lane, a car in that lane then pushed it down the road.
I'll sketch it out when I get home as the insurance company will probably want to know the details.

I would shit myself falling off on the motorway, even if it was at fairly low speed. that car coulda pushed you 10 metres down the road too!!
good luck with the insurance claim
