Happy I could help. Also, I forgot to mention the length of the hose. Should be about 5-6 inches.

I cant see your small pictures very good >.<

The small fuel line from the tap to the Y piece is fat, at least 12mm.

I'm too far away from my bikes to measure it at the moment, but if your still stuck i can measure it sometime

got a 12mm Fuel Tube today from Ebay together with some proper clips, so hopefully this will be a lot better than my completely wrong length/diameter tube with cable ties

Cheers for all the help, I will fit tomorrow

All ok, fitted new fuel tube - not the one in the photo, but the leaking problem was coming from the bit labelled as B in the photo - the rubber stopper had come off - you can see it is split here, so fuel was coming out.

I fitted a screw in here with some liquid gasket, no more petrol leaks.

There isn't supposed to be a rubber stopper on there.

that is a breather.

Petrol comming out of it means that the rubber diaphram in the tap which opens / closes the fuel via vaccum is leaking / been messed with.

Pics of the complete tap would help explain better but you shouldn't have had a 'stopper' stuck on there to being with, thats a bodge.

The tap has been modified - no diaphram,no vaccum - just a simple on/off tap which is how it was working when I bought it, but the rubber stopper was torn as I said but I didn't realise it was leaking fuel.

The bike runs good now that there isn't any fuel running all over the electrics
