Hi all,
After having the ignition off the bike to have a new key cut and plugging it back in I have no rear lights or indicators....the front light is fine but the front indicators are on constant.
I have also had the tail fairing off to charge the battery but only had to disconnect the relevant light plugs for this too.
Fuses are all good and I have a live to the rear lights.....I'm guessing its earthing out somewhere on the front but I'm not good with electrics!! I know this could be a world of electrical gremlins....
Any guidance or suggestions are more than welcomed,
Thanks chaps

Help - No rear lights!!
Ty the earth cable on the right hand side of the bike. I think u have to remove the right mid fairing and the cable is bolted onto the frame were the fairing bracket it. I think the wire is a green one and there's to cables that go into one

Re: Help - No rear lights!!
What have you disturbed? Ignition block connector and tail block connector. I have put the tail back on many times and had no tail lights , believing the connector was fully home, so this is where I'd begin. As for the rear indicators check the bulbs visually, switch them with the front ones. if they are okay, check their connectors are fully home. Haynes suggest you check for a voltage at the relay and then for continuity from one end to the other, but hopefully you'll have sorted it before it gets that far.

Rob.

Just out of interest, is your bike an import?
Conventional wisdom says to know your limits. To know your limits you need to find them first. Finding your limits generally involves getting in over your head and hoping you live long enough to benefit from the experience. That's the fun part.
