New CB400 headlight from Hong Kong

I thought it was time for a new headlight. The chrome on mine started pitting on the outside and rotting on the inside. So, either get a new one or refurbish.
Surfing on fleabay I found a new 8" CB400 headlight (fleabay US). I ordered it from Hong Kong and just a few days later it duly arrived. I took a few pictures to share.
On the left you see my old one (with scratch), on the right the new one:

It looked good on the photos. I was quite surprised however to receive an exact replica made of plastic .
I don't know what to think of it. Will this be strong enough? or should I give it a fiberglass backing on the inside?

I also got a cheap radiator for my CB400 NC36. Made of aluminum and seems OK, same to the original. They're costly to replace in general so I think I had a good bargain there.

Headlight looks well mate, plus, for what you paid for it, it's a good job.
I've seen that seller with a lot of Superfour stuff, headlights, brackets, complete dials, housings even the pazzo style levers.
I'm actually waiting on a set of those levers, from a different seller in Hong Kong, £33 including p&p. Can't be bad, i'll let you all know how they fit, feel, etc !

The CB400 super four is one of the most common bikes in Singapore and that could be similar in other Asian countries. No wonder there is a market there for spare parts and custom parts. In Japan this is even more so but it seems only few vendors are willing to export, whereas the Chinese, and in particular traders in Hong Kong, are fully geared up for export.
