I use the 2003 - 2005 model.
After this they change to more pins.

I think the generator is the weak point here, the 60w high beam is only used sporadically so it does not load the generator long enaugh to cause it to fail due to overheating wh.ereas the dipped beam is used for etended periods. Also the UK-spec has an oil cooler and the generation is cooled by the engine oil although I think the oil cooler was installed due to many of these export bikes being used for racing.
