If this is the one I'm thinking of, I take it you didn't get much more than £5 change from 6.5k? especially if it's only got 7805km on it

Very nice Paul.
Wow, that's the first time I've had my name in a poll! (Although the Harley thing is a little harsh, I learnt my lesson!)

ah ha - and sort of right. the low miles one was corroded on the swingarm, forks, and quite tatty under the skin. all bits like the rear mudguard were very sun bleached which there is no comeback from. the other was much better (but still far from exceptional), alot more miles, and with a few parts nicked from the corroded bike will make a nice bike.BillingCBR wrote:If this is the one I'm thinking of, I take it you didn't get much more than £5 change from 6.5k? especially if it's only got 7805km on it
Its easier to rebuild and engine and spend a day stripping and cleaning, than trying to get the swingarm and frame and engine corrosion masked.

Nice that lad! As a matter of interest what were they like to deal with? Been there a couple of times and always seem alright but I've never bought from them.

Kris, The guys name was spencer and he was spot on to be honest. I had a good vibe from him from the start, once he sussed out i wasn't your average time waster dreamer he was open and very honest.ibby4585 wrote:Nice that lad! That's good to know as it's near. They imported that 3ma i got from soppy bollocks. Don't be in a rush to sell the SE will you! At the end of the year I may be in a position thieve it off you.

I was thinking about that today, and i might just leave the SE for this years use, and put the SP in storage for a year and sort it next year. who knows.
