Just picked up my first NC30 couple of stupid questions
Sorry if they have all been asked before i did try and search some of them...
What rpm is good for cruising? (round town, long spells at lowish speeds etc)
Should the bike develop some high frequency vibrations in the pegs and even in the bars (to a much lesser extent) at 8 or 9000 onwards when giving it a fistful?
Should i wait until the temp reaches 90 until i give it a fistful? (someone told me this however just went for a 45 min ride and bike didn't get close to 90)
Why does the bike have me entering corners at a much faster rate than normal without me even realising until i look at the speedo on the exit?
And some photos because im sure you lot don't get sick of looking at these bikes.

Re: Just picked up my first NC30 couple of stupid questions
RPM... Ride it where it feels comfortable. These bikes are very forgiving. I tend to cruise at around 5-6k, but that is the band where to me the bike doesn't sound like it is lugging or screaming.
Vibrations... yes. All bikes do this when the RPM rises.
Temps.. don't worry about it hitting 90 before opening it up, but don't do it right after you start it either. Let it warm up for a few minutes.
Corner speed... because these bikes are THAT good! LOL. The nimble handling of these 400s make cornering much easier. I don't worry too much about the speedo but pay more attention to my gut. Riding shouldn't scare the shit out of me on the street... that is what the track is for!
Cheers and welcome to 400gb!

5-6k seems good to me as well. Pulls quite nicely from there.
Only reason i have been looking at speedo is because i have no idea how fast i am going. The sense of speed is much duller than on my GPX 250 (pictured above) which must be because of the riding position. Haven't scared myself just yet and don't really plan to! Hopefully this bike becomes a long termer...
Changed the thumbnails to links so you can see the big photos.

I'm guessing that isn't wet and dreary UK
That is a very nice looking bike you have there though. You'll love this place, the depth of help and knowledge is increadible.
