NC29 Clock Bracket

Post by popenator »

Hi all, about 6 years ago I smashed up my cbr400rr and now i've got some time on my hands its time to fix it!

Unfortunately the box I put various nuts and bolts in has vanished, and the first thing I am struggling with is by no means technical but I just cant work out how the clock/front fairing bracket is supposed to go back on.

Can anyone take a photo of the way theirs is fitted or what kind of nuts and bolts I need please? This would be really appreciated.

Cheers

No i'm not kidding, thats why I asked...

There must be something missing is all I can think of. Hence why a photo would have been useful.

The part that the clocks bolt to can be separated from the part of the stay that bolts to the frame, maybe you don't have it all the pieces there?

Can't help with pics ATM, but a parts diagram might help.

Front stay (part #35):

Headlight bracket which bolts to stay (part #3):

Hi, thanks for the links, very helpful

I can see one 8x30 bolt in the diagram. I'll go with that and hope the fact its wiggling around alot will be rectified somewhere down the line.
