HPI checks for the VIN on a track bike

HPI checks for the VIN on a track bike

Hi,

thinking about a new toy but want to make sure it's not nicked. Are there any vehicle check sites I can use to check the history with only a frame number? all the one's i've looked at like HPI and RAC want a registration number.

I thought about phoning DVLA but I've never found them even slightly helpful with things like this in the past.

Jim - that link is for a US site so I don't think it will cover bikes imported into the UK.

As far as I can tell VIN number checking is a trade-only facility. If I give in and call DVLA I'l report back and let you know what they said...
