Re: NC23J Battery
glad someone else has this problem! try positioning a blade screwdriver under the battery to lift it clear of the ledge and try to pull it free, don’t worry about distorting the bat box in the process.. its fairly flexible.

Re: NC23J Battery
Although on an nc29, one of my first posts on this site was this very problem. My fix was to squirt in some wd40 then thread some tough wire through the connection holes and pull straight up, it came out with a massive amount of suction, like trying to give birth I think. I then checked the size of the old battery and found it was around 4mm longer than the new one I replaced it with. Possibly was not the right batery.

Re: NC23J Battery
It is a tight fit! Had the same problem.
Had to force the positive cable out first. Then it was ok. But you have to be heavy handed with it!
