whats to say theyre not duff bent frames as well, need one from a reliable source, then hopefully ill be back on the road early next year :|
Drop Geoff33 a PM on here.

I sold hiom a good frame and a amte is about to sell him a good bike that we know is straight.

Frames get binned by breakers as no-one buys them so they get weighed in for scrap..I'll bet you can get all you need from Geoff for pretty cheap.

Cyl head is no problem either, they are cheap.

RVF style fairings.

Dunno about registering, to be quite honest with you I doubt it's worth it in comparison to buying a frame with a V5. Although it came from an intact bike it was an ex-race school bike so I'm sure it's been dropped and I don't know how straight it is.

I once had the engine mounts welded back on.

I know some people will be against it on here but it was all I could afford to do at the time. I took it to a truck welding company who did an excellent job. only cost about £30

There is always the risk though that re-welding it could warp the barrels and 'lock up' the engine.

The engine mounts on the cylinder head??
Thats really dodgy, theyre made out of cheap monky metal, a mate is a welder and said
he wudnt touch it with a bargepole!!
Its odd though, its not something i would ever have checked really, if i had just put new fairings on id never have known they snapped. Glad i stripped it down but now i see theres a fair bit of work that needs doing, interesting though :)

not still riding around with it are you :?:

No! it was on an old hack of an NC30! Really rough and made up out of spares collected on the cheap.

I turned it into a track bike and sold it some years ago. Funnily enough though i saw the fairings that i sprayed up sell on ebay a few months back!! (Red Bull ones with an RS250 seat unit)

random pic, my right boot after the crash, its in a bad state but my feet were fine, only thing i have left, leathers were cut off of me so they were thrown, helmet was binned, gloves were ripped to shreds.
spent over a grand on the kit, all ruined but money WELL spent in my view! already bought some oxtar boots, theyre cheap as chips now. :D
only thing i hurt (sort of) was my back, and the only thing i wasnt wearing was a back protector, well what do they say,
live and learn ;)

Least you live to tell the tale mate, and the kit did it's job. What did work say to it, you under medical or fully fit and deployable?
