Repairing Cracked Fairing? which is the best item to use?
slight cracks are appearing on my fairings here and there. i think age has caught up with my bodywork
just wondering. whats the best item to fix these fairings? superglue? epoxy? fibre putty? i need it to be pretty heat resistant cos some of the parts i need to patch are near the frame/engine which is darned hot.

if proper OE plastics, then a product called plastex.
if its cheapy fibreglass then more fibreglass, if its plastic from a far eastern region bought on ebay, then you may as well buy shares in plastex.

I used Q-Bond and it worked well. Regarding the drying time..... appoximately a few seconds!! Don't sniff the fumes too much as it starts to make your eyes waterthrasher wrote:q-bond available on ebay.
