R6S (US only model?) looks to be the same as the rest of the world 2004-5 R6.
That might help.

The one I bought was a 5SL off a 2005 model and is identical to cajuns, its 300mm between holes although I still have to fit at a later date.

Cheers, been having a look around at shocks and noticed it had the one eyelet lower mount where mine is a folk mount. Got an idea for a replacement shock for the 23 ill let people know if anything comes of it.

Hi
Hope it's ok to bring up this thread again
Might be looking for an r6 shock for my track nc29.
Just wondering about spring rates.
Cajun states the 03 has 9.6 kg/nm and the 04-05 has 11kg/nm.
Suited up in my gear I'm about 160lbs. Which spring would suit me best?
I guess the bolt holes in top and bottom are the same size as the nc29 shock, right? m10, isn't it?
Kind regards
Martin

Re: R6S (03-09) shock installed w/pics
Just for info...
Made a little bit of research. According to Race Tech the:
03-04 R6 has a 9.85 kg/mm spring
05 R6 has a 10.8 kg/mm spring
Do anyone have some possible answers to my reply just above this??
Kind regards
Martin
