Fan plug problem

Post by vfrman » Sun Jan 16, 2011 10:06 pm

Ok, so I am working on getting this track bike together, and today I find a problem with the wiring. For some reason, the socket on the lower rad for the fan is a two prong plug, but the one on the harness is a three prong. Am I missing something?

Also, what is this bare wire?

Didn't realise they were different! Now I'm learned. But honestly, ditch the fan for the track 8-)

That is what is going to happen. Any ideas on that black frayed wire?

would it be damaging to my bike if i left the fan on all the time? (the previous owner made a switch to control my fan)
