VFR750 Wheel Conversion Tyre Size

Hey guys,

Just wondering what tyre size people who have done the VFR750 wheel conversion are running? Is 170/80/17 the best size or are you able to run a lower profile like 160/70/17? And does the size fit as well on both 5" or 5.5"?

160 would be your best option

160/60 is what you want.. Standard 17 inch 4.5 inch sizes.. you can get lots of part worns if this is for track use

it will be for road use...i believe the 750 is a 5" wheel from the searching that i've done so it looks like the standard 160 tyre should fit..

sorry to thread hijack, but ill also be fitting a 750 rear soon- any recommendations for a decent fast road tire? bearing in mind that ive been on bt92's for the last 2 years...
