Re: wow dont theses nc30s get hot
They do tend to get quite hot, but I'd also check the coolant level after your first ride since re-filing the bike. It might have pushed a few air bubbles out.
What coolant do you use? I have a lways used Fuchs Pro-Cool and never had a problem, mine rarely goes over 90 C

I use water and it is fine when moving...
Pick my new rad up in 2 weeks..woohooo
that will sort it out.
The frames get very hot to touch and the heat can roast your legs...just go a bit faster to get a nice breeze

yeah, its just one of those things, crammed a v4 in a tiny frame thats what happens.
as said, check for trapped air, clean out rads and buy some good coolant, and dont sit still in traffic for too long!! :D

Re: wow dont theses nc30s get hot
agree with royster there, shorts are uncomfortable with the heat out of the frame.
the lower rad does get gunked up with the crap off the road, mine is running a little hot in traffic lately but i know i will whip the rads off when i am in ireland and leave them to soak overnight and give them a meticulous clean, maybe a lick of paint!!

do you guys honestly ride in shorts???
clogged fins are never good, giving them a clean out will make a noticeable difference.
easy to do as well.
