Carb slides
hi, i think i remeber reading something about drilling the carb slides and shimming the needles out. if i wasnt dreaming this lol what is the proccess and does anyone have any pictures, and is it to reduce the midrange flatspot?

they richen the mix low down and help with responsiveness (is that a word ?) so the revs pick up quicker when you crack the throttle on,not every bike benefits from this so before you do it does you bike need it,i have a set of drilled slides i could sell you so if you don't like the drilled slides you can just put the old ones back in and all you need to do with the washer under the needles is take the slide out,take it apart,remove the needle and standard 0.5mm washer and add either a 1mm or another 0.5mm washer.if you don't like it,remove the 0.5mm washer to go back to standard,at worst you'll just lose hours off you life lol
