1.2 bar rad cap

Living in Thailand (UK born and bred) there are plenty of motorcycle shops of which i can pick up a genuine honda rad cap from.
Question is, as i intend to do a fair bit of long distance ridding (high rpm's and high ambient temps, 30+ every day) would a 1.2 bar rad cap be worth considering?

I think if the cooling system is on good condition it will handle those temps fine on long distance trips. My nc's have always got hottest when there's no air flow over the radiator (heavy traffic etc).

The higher pressure rated cap will increase the boiling point of the water slightly, this won't make a difference to the cooling system if your bike doesn't get to boiling point already.

Might be good insurance though?

I seem to recall turning my bike off once or twice in heavy traffic and hot weather, although that's not great either as the water stops circulating...

I have a spare, unused 32 mm core upper radiator - if you're interested PM me. Honestly though on the street bike I use stockers here in Thailand with no problem. I personally would not up-rate the cap on mine and risk the system being put under too much pressure if it overheats.

Thanks for the replies guys, my bike has a large uprated alloy radiator fitted to it just curious if the 1.2 bar cap would be worth purchasing over a standard 1.1 bar cap, a slightly higher boiling point is what i would desire and i think just an extra .1 bar wouldn't harm the cooling system (new pump, thermostat, new rubbers between the V's, uprated upper rad and new hoses alround, it should cope with the extra .1 bar :)
