Re: Throttle cable identify
i think its a pull / throttle on as it has the adjuster at the throttle end. and also has to nuts carb end which the push/off cable only has one?
and according to part number it apears to be the right one.

Re: Throttle cable identify
Comp.a or PULL/ON
is £14.00 + 17.5% VAT + P&P of about £5 at DSS so your set for a steal/winer unless someone else pips you to it.
i bought a COMP.A from DSS last week. and would have bought that one if id have known.

That's that one purchased then, bought a spare at that price too! Am I wasting my time buying the push then, or should I get it? That's £15 on eBay...

Re: Throttle cable identify
dont bother its pointless, just extra weight, and it does nothing tbh. its a back up if the springs fail on the carb.TJenkos wrote:That's that one purchased then, bought a spare at that price too! Am I wasting my time buying the push then, or should I get it? That's £15 on eBay...
but what are the chance?

Re: Throttle cable identify
Chances are slim, but happened to me on a road bike a couple of years ago! Not much fun winding up the idle speed and limping home! I still only run one cable thoughporndoguk wrote:its a back up if the springs fail on the carb.but what are the chance?
