Ive not been since 2007, would love to take the 400 out there but maybe on the tail end of the TT this time when the roads are less busy and maybe do a bit more riding than drinking
Was ace tho, lazy days watching bikes in the sun and mad partys all night, meet some top people, and strange ones too
Great vid, is it your own?

see i don't think i'd like to go when the TT is on as the prices for things is meant to rocket up and the population for the island trebles. maybe ,like you say tony, the tail end of the week or i wonder would it be quieter during the manx ?
either way i want to go when it's nice and quiet so i can ride around the circuit in peace

If you want to ride the course and watch racing, Manx or even southern 100 weeks are 100 time better than TT, TT great for beers and the like but ridding course TT week is more dangerous than racing there in my opinion.
You should try it on closed roads, now that is addictive!!

Yep the prices do go up, dont get me wrong TT week is great but i got fed up with riding as it is soooo busy, i hardly went out at all after the 1st day, a mate of mine catapulted his R1 over a wall on the mountin section, his own fault but classic case of someone wanting to enjoy the roads but too much traffic.
Manx would be good i reckon

I went during practice week. Closed roads galore. Far too addictive, went through 3 tanks of fuel in 1 day.
And no this is not my vid.

Loooovley video!
My fuel pump broke after Kerrowmoar and I stood at the marshal’s hut watching the rest of practice. I heard the barr...p....bar..pppp.p.pp...p barrrRRR.... of the engine skipping across the bumps as they approached and huge plume of dust as they shot past, amazing!
The Manx is great for spectating and having a go on relatively quiet roads although the police are extremely strict on speed through the villages (rightly so). Closed Roads, last flying lap, dry road, Bray Hill, the pinnacle of riding a bike, almost religious, poetic experience.
