It has set me back a fiar bit but it's a pleasure to ride an old bike in such good condition, it's too easy to just buy a brand new 600 super sport bike lol :D

Grrrrrrrr, getting a little irritated with the bike, just fixed all the above plus throttle cables, front tyre and water way o-rings............... and..........

The god dam rear shock has spat it's oil, along with that my upper rad has a crack in one of it's cores, which has probably only shown up now due to over hauling the cooling system and thus increasing it's pressure.
Gonna a be an expensive month and the gf is going to have to settle for a reconditioned rear shock absorber for her Crimbo present this year, bloody typical the rear shock went the day after i re-conditioned the front shocks!!!

To be honest not having any dampening on the rear shock is bloody dangerous, the moment it spat it's oil i was riding over a small hump in the road, after riding over it's highest point the bike sprung the back end back up and nearly sent me into a tank slapper, cornering when accelerating is a no-no, the back end gets too light if there are any bumps in the road to upset the back end, causing the rear wheel to instantly spin.
Never underestimate a good shock and take time to set them up for your style of riding.
