Next thing on to do list is strip , clean and rebuild my carbs.
The bike has a mercury full sp1 style system , what mods/jets will i need?
I have no idea about carbs but my dad will be doing it all with me so he wants to know whats needed and what i need to order.

I fitted 122 DJ's, RO needles and drilled slides with a RLR SP1 system, tyga airbox and k&n filter. I think kris's setup is similar but with 124 mains!!

Thats what i did, he sugested that for my setup. i may end up going for larger mains and possibly a less restricted air supply to make use of the tuned motor but i still want it reasonably well road manered.

know the feeling i always end up fixing something else before i sort the job i had in hand first.
seriously th clutches on the NC30 are tough, so thats why i asked as it may appear its had the granny smashed out of it in passed owner ships, have you tried adjusting or changing cable?
my cable was stretched, and made a big difference when adjusted, ive just fitted a brand spanker today.

Iv got a new a new cable for it, adjusted it up loads but it still slips , if its something more serious i will just have to chuck a new motor in it.
