Nc30 electrical problem!

Post by ibby4585 » Fri Nov 26, 2010 1:54 pm

Right, doing a bit of work on my bike and I've encountered a problem!

I went to start the bike this morning and saw that the neutral light wasnt illuminated when I turned the key! Went to find neutral but it was already in! The bulb I thought had gone so went to start it! Totally dead!! Oil light illuminates as do all the lights Brake lights and headlight idiot light but won't even turn and no neutral light!

I've checked fuses wiring etc

Any ideas anyone?

Kris

hey kris, ill make you feel better, i stripped the carbs down when i first got her, fired her up big cheesy grin knowing id solved the problem,

the thought i wonder if the kill switch works.....

yep it works, left it in off

then 10mins later decided to start it up again. spent about 20mins trying everything checking fuel, took tank off etc etc, bike would not ignite.

24hrs later realised id left the kill swith off.

 weve all done it, i made a prize plonker of myself with my first big bike. Had a datatool fitted by one of them mobile guys, had a play with it and all was well. Then decided to go out for a ride, key on but nothing. I went as far as getting the alarm guy back out who promptly pointed out to me what that red botton does called the kill switch
