Original Honda finish. R/W/B

Post by arsey30 »

I am trying to establish how original paint/decals were applied to the seat unit.
Can anyone with known original panels let me know please.

1. Were the gold vinlyl stripes fitted before or after the red paint was applied over the white paint.
i.e Is there a step on one or each edge of each stripe.

2. Is there a step where the edge of the red paint meets the white, or a smooth transition.

Thanks,
Dave.

Dave, gold to me looks to be put on first, a clear step on the white to gold which is clean, and the red looks to have been painted after, some slight red overspray on the gold inside edge, and less of a step between gold / red
hope that helps
