Re: Who was after an NC30 K&N?
tis me,
it came in the air box attached to a set of carbs i bought the other week at a car boot! the women didnt really know what it all was, so paid very little for everything i listed last night.
the carbs have standard jap jets in them so i would guess they tried to make a k&n filter and found it did not run together well with the standard jets hence the filter being as good as new really.
im happy with my vfr so i am not messing around with this filter, my guess would be big jets to suit it. seems well constructed though.

Re: Who was after an NC30 K&N?
what are you after a complete air box or just the filter? i have had another dig through the BIG box of bits i bought. there is what i am guessing is the other half of this used k&n filter.
there also appears to be a shed load of cbr 400 bits as well, i have some coils, a rad and a load of other bits. i will post some pics so hopefully some one can confirm what there all off. i will go get a picture of the remaining part of the filter, if its of any use.

Re: Who was after an NC30 K&N?
as promised:

this looks to be the same size as the other bit of the filter in the filter housing.

all of the other bits in the box, looking further another k&n filter ( not in the picture ), though its maybe only, 3" tall. im thinking maybe i could cut it and put it in the subfilter part of the airbox. not sure if that would be of any benefit or not really but no harm in trying i guess

if it is just the k&n part you are after i am happy to post that for you, shipping cost would be far less if you could 'make your own' make me an offer if you want.vfrman wrote:Too bad you won't ship to I-tie-lie.
