Re: mmmmmnew stuff
Unfortunately not mate. I'd love to go, but can't afford it at the minute. I'll be doing one of the PB track days next year though (if I can find a way of transporting the bike over) or maybe the 400GB one. Would like to do a 'proper' track, unlike the ones we have over here. (mostly ole air-fields and as flat as T.P.T.)
Ducati 916, not worth a carrott

CL SBK pads
EBC discs
Goodridge lines all round
HRC rear res
Maxton shock
Maxton forks
Alloy 2 piece clipons
1/5 turn throttle
R&G crash bungs

I want to change the can so if anyone has something that measures about 420mm in length is slip on and has the noggins for the springs maybe we can do a deal on the Micron thats on it.

Sorry Billy!!
Never thanked you for the top tip on Goodridge brake lines BTW, worked a treat from M&P. Bike looks good mate, you've done all the right stuff there. What do you reckon to the ram air?? worth the effort?? And what sort of money are we talking about for the head skim/ hi comp pistons...just a ball park would do to give me an idea. I got 64 bhp with just the HRC cdi, dj kit and K&N filter with GF pipe. What do you reckon all the work has freed up on yours?
Question is when do you stop spending??? lol.

the ram air seems good mate pointless for a road bike though, as for what the engine costs I wouldnt like to say as I dont really know if I got a deal or not..
You never know he may pop up and let you know what it would cost, I dont know the full spec but I believe Graeme charges about £1200 for a race spec motor.

Re: mmmnew stuff now with pics and a vid....
My bike's purely for the track now Billy, have spent the last couple of years on and off getting it ready and had the first run out on it last Saturday. Havent done anything as yet to the engine, with the exception of ditching the flywheel. It's the old power over reliability thing putting me off, but I have to say I'm sorely tempted!! Might even go down the big bore route since last Saturday's trackday has dispelled any dillusions of me ever racing. Christ it was humbling!!
The ram air is a fairly cheap mod, just wondered if it was worth the money and effort. Probably wouldnt bother if it was only for 1 or 2 horses.

TBF mate all of the mods are for 1 or 2 horses realistically mine will be putting out about 70BHP
It'll do for me like you say reliability is king.

Re: mmmnew stuff now with pics and a vid....
well lets see good deal or not?
takeing the engine to bits replacing the pistons with high compretion pistons
and new rings ,checking all the bearings ,reseating all the valves fitting the modified internal drive gears which allow you to skim the head .skimming the head .2 mm doing all the valve shims and getting it back to you for 650 pounds !!! youve defonately been ripped off!!! :D
