Mate, as far as you ask this - I don't think it will be very cheap, and maybe unreasonable. But if you like to do something with your hand pleasure will be more than cost... trust me.

It all depends on how cheap you can get the fairings for. I managed to pick up a full set of road gear off a 600RR that had been turned into a track bike for $300AUD. I should be able to get out of it for $600 including a colour change and a sticker kit, but I'm doing everything my self and I got a great deal on the 600RR gear.


Is it worth buying a 600 tank? Do they fit easily, will it follow the lines of the fairings better then just painting the 400 one? And does anyone know if an 03 tank will fit 05 fairings?

I've been writing up a worklog for everything I do on this bike so once I get it done I'll post it across on here to give people an idea on what is required.

thats a good question, does the 600 tank with the NC23 ?
