wasup gentz

so this evening i noticed itz quite a leka nyt, y not go for a spin! went out and decided 2 ride the bike a bit seeing that i ride in traffic evry moring, anyway i went 2 a friend, was nice and clear so i opened it up a bit...........hit 170km/h then took the off ramp so i geared down to 5th then 4th @ bout 11000rpm in fourth when gearing down i hear that the bike back fires a bit, not too hecticly, but just wondering if itz normal cz my dads 1000rr does the same thing.....just curious as to whethet this is normal and what the cause is???

oh and about back firing, its the probally running rich, and when the HOT Waste Exhaust gases hit the COLD AIR its re ignites and burns the rest of the hydrocarbons and flamable vapours.

Most likely theres an air-leak into the exhaust which is sucking in air on the over-run and igniting in the exhaust.

Are all the joins still in one piece?

As Rick has said, it could be over-rich too, although my 24 was backfiring terrible on the over-run when one of my rear-headers came loose
