Post by The Dark Prince »

Hi
Anyone know where I can get full set - chain and sprockets 14 front 42 rear for my NC30.
Everybody seems to do 15-40 only

Thats going to be a fairly fast accelerating bike.

These guys are excellent. They might not have what you're after on the site but give them a ring. Really good service :)

You got pics of it?
I'm not sure what you'd top out at with that gearing.
I definitely wouldn't fancy that gearing on a road bike though.

14/42 will do about 100 I reckon...so no good for racing 600s..

Wouldn't want to do any motorway miles with that gearing then. 14/40 is perfect for the road IMO

Each to their own but my preferred choice is 14/43 on my road bike. Reckon it tops out at 100mph and accelerates like a train.
How hard can it be?
