I agree. I'd only ever seen the 'big light' RC until I found a pic of the Jap version on the net about ten years ago. I'm actually warming to the Swiss version, at least Honda produced a proper fairing for it unlike Kawasakis 'Heath Robinson' style efforts on the ZXR400:-

As for the RC45, yes I always thought that was pig ugly from the front, the complete antithesis of the pretty NC35.
