I think the front bearings need changed as there is a slight groan at times but would this cause a knocking noise when going over bumps??
You need to get the front wheel off the ground and see if there is any play/movement in your head bearings, if there is, you will feel/hear knocks over bumps!
Yes there is a bit of play when I lift the front wheel off the ground. I'll order a set of new wheel bearings and hopefully that should sort it
