Bulbs GRRR
went out today to get hold of a new headlight bulb for my 29, but as its bank holiday my choices were limited, so i went to halfords, asked if they sold a 60/35w and the guy just looked at me funny, went to bassetts and the guy behind the counter questioned if i was right on the numbers twice, and the guy still reacted as if id asked for the rosetta stone or a ufo, anyone know where i can get a suitable bulb that doesnt cost 20 odd quid?

Re: Bulbs GRRR
standard crap bulbs are 35/55 for the NC29 and are weird jap fitting.
i used to buy any ol H4 and cut the 2 lower location tabs off. **higher wattage bulbs will melt the dip switch if the relay mod is not done.
in dec i modified the holders to carry normal H4 bulbs with butchering.

Re: Bulbs GRRR
i did this with my nc30 when the bulbs went on it, just chopped one of the tabs off and it fit, but it also started losing charge on the battery so i wasnt sure if there was an electrical issue that stopped me using themleopard_pagan wrote:standard crap bulbs are 35/55 for the NC29 and are weird jap fitting.

i never had the relay mod guide. that was on the old site, then it was removed.
i DO have the H4 headlight unit mod where you CUT the headlight units them selves.
i am waiting for the site to finalise before i email them the guides i do have to post up
