None of them are HRC CDIs - they are speed deristrictors. The HRC CDI replaces the standard NC30 CDI and looks like this (note the different shape to standard CDI):

Very 'Special' indeed 8-)

if this isnt normal then fine but im only stating what mine does.
got to call blag on that one my friend..the tacho does not read accurately anyways unless you have reset it (like you can on an ignitech)

std CDI will rev it's arse off and the HRC inline jobby does nothing at all to do with the ignition timing and levels..

I am looking forwards to being proven wrong....we need a dyno session!!

i allready said that i didnt have a HRC CDI, and that i meant i had the HRC plugin unit onto my CDI.
tbh i didnt even know there was a specific HRC CDI anyway hence my poor terminology.

not at any point was i implying i have the rarest of rare things on my road bike?

I feel like I'm in conflict resolution all over again!

Seriously, you just beat me to the post. It's all good though. I was trying to be informative, but as my psych says, I have negative tendancies

its ok, i could understand if my facts were genuine bullshit but there is evidence to prove what i was saying, but i really dont care, read what you want into it, i know my bike and parts and my own knowledge,

do you honestly thing HRC would produce and sell and expensive black box if it only removed the speed limit? i mean it weighs couple of hundred grams and you can acchieve that with a 21p resistor that weights 2-3grams? the point being HRC produce light weight, performance things. think about it.

my knowledge is free if you dont like it then you know what you can do with it (in a polite way)

this has been taken out of context and way off topic, i just hope paul CRM tidies it up to keep the proffesional approach to this excellent site.
