Your need to cut your standard system to fit it, and your also need a years supply of earplugs

Is it really that loud?! Its my bike but my dad is helping build it and will obviously ride it, he doesnt like loud bikes...how loud will it be?!
And when you say cut, do you cut the standard pipe where it more or less meets the swinging arm?
Cheers bud

I'd offer the can up to the pipe first before you decide where to cut, doesn't the maggot have spring fitments? You may need to weld some hooks to you standard system.
And are they really that loud..... Err yes without a doubt although never heard one on a standard system. Just hack saw your can off and start the bike to see what it will sound like

Yes it's stupidly loud.
Sounds like my mates old bike when the can dropped off, he used a VAX pipe or similar for a while.. sounds like that.

I'd vote too loud..
It is a daft can to get IMO - totally unusable apart from looking pretty cool.

A mate of mine has 1 on his nc30 & it sounds good @ first, it makes a lovely growl but useless for being out & about. It makes his ears ring for a couple of hours after he's been out - like he's been @ a rave all night & he wares ear plugs!

Does the maggot have any markings on? ie. Not for road use. Or is it clear of all markings. Reason I ask, is I've spoken to the local traffic lads down here and they say as long as no markings, they would be fine with it.
