NC30 suspension questions
This is one for the racers and track riders mainly. I bagged a WP rear shock on evil bay for my track only NC30 and I just wanted to know how high should I raise the back end? I understand it is preffered to raise the rear as apposed to raising the forks through the yokes as clearence becomes an issue on the rad. Also as the shock has height adjustment, is the RVF linkage mod necessary?

Fit an RVF linkage on the back end. I've done it and it works great. Unsure of the exact raise but as a guess I'd say 1 inch.

Re: NC30 suspension questions
marcus57 - Appreciate your offer but the forks are taken care of.
alexwhitham - I don't want to fork out for something I don't need. If it's only point is to raise the back end I won't need it as I have a rear shock that can do that, I was wondering if it offered any other improvement other than raising the rear.

Faster turn in, more of an aggressive riding position, better looks....

Re: NC30 suspension questions
I can get all those things from my raising my rear shock so I don't need the 35 linkage then!? Presumably it's only a worthwhile mod if you have a rear shock that doesn't offer ride height adjustment.

Re: NC30 suspension questions
You don't need the RVF linkage if you have a longer shock - how long does the adjuster go?
If you can get over 315mm then it will be high enough...and any more is a bonus. you then will have the linkage hit your pipes.
Sorted
