CB400 superfour fuel type

Post by maranci »

I own a Honda CB400 superfour 1992 model which I usually give LRP (lead replacement petrol), I wondered if I could give my bike unleaded fuel instead. Can anybody help me out in this ?, because I am not sure if the bike accepts unleaded fuel.
Thanks

Hmm, I would have thought it was unleaded?!
My NC30 ('91) had a big sticker on the tank that said 'Unleaded fuel only'. I thought bikes went unleaded long before it was an issue for cars. I could be wrong.
I put unleaded in the Superdream and C90, no problems so far...

Thanks matt, since I bought my bike second hand (japanese import) I did not have any indication that my bike could possibly accept unleaded petrol.

'92 Superfour, i've always run it on unleaded, it's been in the family for over 10 years!
