They are a tad thick. I will take them as a 6th set if you separate them and mark them as such for me. Those would be good for a completely stock engine.

Personally, I'd put it down to the clever git that made the original drawing myself...

Haha, when we first got a couple sets cut on a laser here, I was more than pleased with the outcome! Can't believe I am such a tart when it comes to things like this - it's not like they're ever gonna be on show for every one to see!

Hi Hunter. I'm afraid I'm working offshore (New Caledonia) and won't be home for at least another two weeks. Had a guts full to be honest and want to get home. My VFR is still in a million bits and we're into Summer now. So much for getting a full season in. Sorry to all those awaiting shims but, like most of us, I'm a slave to money and bills. At least I'm earning a good few bob at the moment which will help with the budget.

Wanted to give this a bump - Have got me an RVF set of heads and some pistons to stick on no9...and this thread was a good read to see whether I would get the block skimmed..

Not sure to be fair....

Did anyone get the shims from our friend down under?
