I'm back with different carbs again lol

Well I couldn't get the bike to run well after I had the 33mm Mikuni's bored out to 35mm. The butterflies were staying open as the bore size wasn't exact enough. Thus the bike idling at 6k rpm lol. I should have sent the carbs back to the engineer guy but by this point I'd lost interest.

I now have 33mm Mikuni's bored out for the TPS on my bike. I'm still setting it up at the moment and just had time last weekend to start it up. Only it was running on 3 so need to investigate.

The main differences between my bike and the original SP.

33mm instead of 35mm carbs
No additional hoses to pressurise the airbox
112 main jets with K&N air filter
Scorpion race can and R6 Link pipe

Fingers crossed because I'll need it!

Cheers Chris.

Bike is running on four again and carbs need to be balanced (job for next weekend) but it's getting there at long last!

After perhaps maybe a 2yr wait I have some SP carbs - woo!!!

I haven't run the 33mm modded TPS ones yet other than on idle... So will be interesting to see if there is any noticeable difference when riding.

Hi Chris,

Well I'm thinking of selling my bikes... I had a recent scare or lucky day (depending on how you see it!) and got a caution for making extreme progress on the 750!!
