Gold NC30 brakes

Post by matt_vfr »

Hi guys,

Ive got some '89 style gold calipers on my NC30 and they need a refresh! Im gonna rebuild the entire brake system in the coming weeks but i want it to look as honda intended... can anyone advise of the best caliper paint to get the colour right? I dont want to go and buy any old gold caliper paint as it will probably be way too orangey!

Thanks for any advice,

Matt

What do you mean 89 style? They are gold already but you want to repaint them??

Why can't you clean them?

Yeh they are gold already but the paint on them is terrible! I've tried cleaning them and it just showed up how bad the paint was, its all pitted, bubbly and scratched... they need repainting, which i will do when i change all the seals etc, but i want to keep the colour the same!

Cheers,

Matt
