Re: NC30 Problem !
its worth given all the connections a clean up, they get corroded and can cause a resistance which can cause things to melt and work, also i was told by the man who mot'd my bike ( ex nc30 owner) that its acommon problem that the connecter where the three yellows are melts, so one way to stop the resistance is to cut off the connector and solder the wires together, but youll probly be best checking the reg/rectifier and also the alternator first.

Re: NC30 Problem !
stator is the alternator and can be purchased here
http://www.electrexworld.co.uk/honda-ro ... 643-0.html
you can get a rectifier from most bike shops...standard
or you could go for the better one from an R6 (iirc)
do a search for rec/reg upgrades. its been written about more than any other subject on here!

Re: NC30 Problem !
ist as easy as unbolting from the subframe (two bolts) and disconnecting the connector block, the only prob you might find is that the connector block might be melted, so you may have to cut the wires and fit a new connecter, you ll probly get one with the new reg/rectifer

Re: NC30 Problem !
yeah, its on the right hand side with three yellow wires. it should be one of the blocks that is located with a load of other electrical connector blocks...
mine was knackered so i cut the wires and put a new one in, make it a good quality one and solder the male and female connectors
he might have also meant the connector block that actually plugs into your reg/rec. check that too and make sure its not burnt/corroded

Re: NC30 Problem !
year i meant the connecter on the reg/rec , when i bought a new reg/rec i also got a new connecter with which then all i did was snipped the five wires ( the three yellow and two others) solderd the wires to the new connecters then pushed the five into the connector, then that connector plugs into the rec/reg
