Re: NC35 doesn't want to wake up??
yup having the same issues as you with my other nc30 it had not been run for a couple of months . tried starting it last week with very little fuel in the tank
nothing. topped up fuel tank changed vacuam pipe as it was perished still nothing it fires on one or two pots then nothing removed plugs which are black n wet with fuel dried them off getting a healthy spark from all four but it looks like ive managed to draw some of the crap in the float chambers into the carbs. looks like i am about to lose my carb removal refitting virginity its a job ive managed to avoid so far but will use the oportunity to get the carbs properly set up for the tyga system on the bike the previous owner said bike was rejetted but still had a flat spot curious to see whats in there.

So I currently own a 94 RVF and for the past few weeks (when I have time to work on it) been having a hell of a time trying to get her to start up (she has sat for 2 months though)
I've checked the fuses and all are good, turns over but nothing. Replaced the battery, checked the fuel lines and fuel tap, drained the tank and carbs and refilled the tank with new fuel. I've heard the odd pop through the exhaust while attempting to start it and today I had a flame shoot out of the can when I tried to start it.
Ordered new spark plugs and reg rec, starter relay (just to try) so will test them when I receive them. Anyone experienced this sort of thing before?

@ Dave: Yours just sounds flooded mate. Sometimes the plugs will spark outside of the bike but under pressure they won't spark enough to ignite the fuel. New plugs will sort it out.

happy for ya dave! :)
in regards to mine...the new starter relay i ordered didn't work...lucky the old one still does. changed the plugs and the reg rec and she roared into life :)
two things i found...old plugs were definitely gone and the reg rec had corrosion on the pins so not sure but at least its working now.
big thanks to all who offered advice!
