You cut the rear headers off!
The reason why is becuase the rear-headers are part of the collectorbox, they don't come off usually.. which is why you have to take the engine out the bike to remove it.

No, they fell off

In the main, the rear headers are fine, it's just the hairpin bits that are slowly rotting. I'm thinking of making it a jointed system for ease of future maintainance. I'll get some new hairpins made that will slip on over the headers.

NC24.
The NC21 has the low level silencer and has a long exit pipe and looks liek this...
