HRC Rearsets

full tubular with the plastic bung in the end, they do look nice, and they do come with the levers but the gear lever has had a hole drilled into it for the quickshifter he had but he said he would thread it and plug with a new pit of ally so its back to original

If i do buy them its likely I will be looking at at arround thw Â£125 mark so if they dont fit well (or arnt comfortable) is there anyone who would buy them for the same price?

Yes, if they are not damaged or modified in any way when fitted, as I think the old and new gear rod lengths may be wrong

You will need to sort out a stop light switch and heat shield also.

I dont have a heat shield and was going to get a braided lines on the rear so il get a pressure brake switch at the same time.

the hangers and foot pegs are still in their bags but the levers have been used but in good condition, as i say there has been a hold drilled in the gear lever but that will be filled and polished so it will be back to standard, aart from tht their standard

This is fitted to RC, I am not sure if the HRC carbon shield fits 400, if it does, I have moulds from original that a friend is using to make up a few later. [ He supplies Formula 1 teams with carbon parts ] I have a spare we could offer up to try.

And I ride it, was out yesterday speed testing, have fitted an ITG filter in place of open carbs [ HRC superbike carb/duct kit] to see if jetting is still anywhere near, but couldnt find a traffic free stretch of road.

When is your NC going to see the light of day, we will have to meet at Newlands and I can park my rotten old NC next to yours to show a before and after. :D

GOT THEM!!!

right now i can come clean, they were on ebay and i got them for Â£56 + the 50 he wanted extra for the levers, Â£106 not bad for a set of rearsets and they came with a hrc rear brake res

yeh id be interested in a carbon heat shield if it will fit, il get some pic's up when i get them as there's not many off the ebay listing

Quite soon hopefully. The NC's now been re-insured, planning a little work on it this weekend, so should be within the next fortnight or so that I can get it MOTed and back on the road.

Bye the way my insurance company insist that the bike has a curent MOT even if it is off the road SORNED.

Plan is to have the bike insured so I can ride it to the MOT test centre, get MOT, then optain the road tax. I let them know that the bike was off the road and I'm currently getting it back to a road worthy condition, they seemed okay with that.

Was surprised how cheap the insurance was; should have done it ages ago.
